Hello everyone just thought i would keep you up to speed with some new ventures.
New for the Xmas and New Year period are a Stunning collection of Darrel Hendries Helensburgh Photographs ,beautifully displayed in a glossy Helensburgh calender due out early December 2009 and a great Xmas present.
My bakery school has taken of this year and i have now had some famous people sign up for lessons. To this end i have been asked to produce an exclusive Craigard recipe book with again some of Darrel Hendries stunning photographs of the final mouthwatering results.
All these can be bought exclusively at Craigard. Along with Ann Stewarts beautifully created Stunnng photography on moving DVD ,and the Helensburgh Postcards. The 2009 Helensburgh Highland Games DVD are also on sale and all these would make someone in your life an excellent present or memento. Well thats me now eventually got possession of the new brochure and wow it looks great.I will be hand delivering them to all the shops this week and and next week to all the Tic,s. Unfortunately there was not enough money raised to pay for guaranteed racking in all the tourist offices so i will have to hope they will accept them if they have space? I hope you all like them and hopefully it will encourage people to come here , but what they see when they get here is up to all of us !! Have a good summer .

Hi Everyone ,You should all have recieved my new update website address now (except for John and Ian i had a problem adding your details but its in hand and will be live by tomorrow dont worry) The Helensburgh brochure is now ready for printing and i will be delivering Friday. Your emails should have explained the reason for the website change, and from now on i will be updating that site with more business type plans and movements. By all means check this site too but this one is open to all . Its a shame there was a neccessity to alternate but Helensburgh needs to move forward . See you all at the new site as of today . Hi to all the 70 or so businesses in the town that have supported and funded the need for a Helensburgh Tourist brochure. The map page is now finished and the front should be about a week.I should have a proof in a week and then by mid July i will start distributing them all round the 32 Tics within Argyll and Bute and the major local airports including Edinburgh and Prestwick. As promised to you all ,once i have the brochure i will pop you one in to your shop before starting the distribution. We need badly to attract people to the town ,but once they are here its up to us as retailers to keep them interested. Thankyou once again for all the support you have shown me and i cant wait to see the final proof See you soon Melanie.

Hello everyone and a huge thankyou to all the local shops and businesses who have pulled out all the stops to help reproduce funding the much needed garden City of the Clyde brochure. The brochure this year is being completely redesigned and rewritten to include much of the same content about our lovely town and to proudly show of our scottish heritage with tartan borders this year instead of Charles Rennie mackintosh.The inside location map will be upgraded this year and some new shops in the town are added .Also the new firm fixture on the Helensburgh calendar being the Helensburgh highland games will be featured with nexts years dates already organised and arranged.This year the brochure will be displayed in all the Argyll and Bute Tic;s and all the local major airports. Thankyou once again to all the retailers who have felt there was a need to market our town outside of the town in this way.
